Head Coach
I'm Valerie Encinas and I'm so excited to return this year as the Head coach for the Stingrays!
I have been swimming my whole life. I attended Penn-State Behrend and competed at the Division 3 level. This year I took a gap year from school and worked as a Full-time coach at Machine Aquatics. This upcoming fall I will be attending Penn-State University to finish my academics and compete on the club swim team! When I was younger, I was an ODSL athlete and swam with the Ida Lee Eels. I also swam for NCAP and competed for my high school. Swimming is my passion and I love being competitive, helping out, and most importantly making the sport fun.
Assistant Coach
Hi! I’m Lindsay Klinge and I’ll be your assistant coach this year!!!
I have swam competitively for the Stingrays since I was 6. I competed all four years in high school, and I now swim for the club team at Radford University. This fall, I will be a college sophomore pursuing a major in nursing. I have always loved swimming both as an athlete and as a coach. I was a junior coach for the Stingrays for 6 years where I fell in love with teaching kids and helping improve their swimming skills. I am so excited to come back this year and work with everyone!
